How We Started
I started shooting Daisy air guns as a kid. My first Daisy was a 1987 model. I shot that gun for over 10 years. I hunted squirrels, rabbits and doves with that gun. I have so many great memories I made with that old 880. It was that gun that prompted me to buy the Winchester 1977 many years later. After shooting it for a couple of years I had to reseal it, that started me down the path of wanting to modify it while I had it apart. I searched and searched the internet for months. Once I get started tinkering with these guns I couldn't stop. I then started picking up other Daisy rifles whenever I ran across a good deal. I would buy trashed guns to salvage parts, and good vintage guns to restore. I now have an 880 that's the same vintage I had growing up and I'm finding new ways to take the 1977 platform to its limit. I'm not there yet but getting closer.
