I designed these moderators to work for the Daisy 880, 901, 822, 922, and Winchester 1977. They should work on any Daisy that uses the same type barrel shroud as the 880. These moderators are 3D printed. The entire moderator can be printed minus the felt inner liner and assembly screws. I have plans for some metal pieces including muzzle adapter and end caps. I'll update the post when I get around to making them. There are four configurations of this moderator. A thin/short, fat/short, thin/long, and fat/long. They are named Spike, 4pt, 8pt, and 12pt respectively.
Each moderator configuration is offered with two different shroud thicknesses, 1mm and 2mm. The models suffixed with TS use the 1mm shroud. The shroud models are 2mm wall. The TS models are to be used with 1mm wall carbon fiber tube as the shroud. The muzzle adapter side holes are to be tapped M4 for 6mm long set screws. The set screws are used to clamp the adapter to the barrel shroud. The adapter provides a good accuracy increase because it is a tight fit to the inner barrel and locks the inner barrel to the shroud. This eliminates the need for the famous barrel tape mod. The models can be downloaded from Thingiverse.
Even if you don't have access to a 3D printer you can order parts from printing services such as CraftCloud
The vintage 880s are whisper quite with these moderators. The above 880 is sporting the 4pt.
